Web Developer

As a Web Developer at MyHeritage, you'll design and implement our client-side UI to support our massive global user community using the latest web technologies: React with Server Side Rendering, Redux, GraphQL, Jest, Storybook, Node.js, NextJs and Webpack.

What you'll do

Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain internal platforms, enhancing usability and performance
Implement responsive and visually precise UI components and applications, ensuring a seamless experience across devices
Participate in Agile sprints, delivering high-quality code on time
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to enhance system stability and improve overall functionality
Continuously learn and apply best practices in web development, staying updated on industry trends
Engage in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and learning from experienced developers

What you bring

B.Sc. in computer science or software engineering — mandatory
1+ years of experience in web UI development
Solid skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiarity with React, Redux, GraphQL, Jest, Node.js — advantage
Passion for web and new technologies
Basic understanding of client-server architecture
A team player with motivation, ambition, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to learning

What else

Confidence working on server-side development
Keen attention to detail and commitment to pixel-perfect design
Familiarity with responsive design principles
Interest in tackling large-scale data and performance challenges
Exposure to continuous integration and deployment workflows
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
