Chief of Staff

The Senior Chief of Staff at Parks and Rec will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment across departments. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage complex projects, facilitate communication and collaboration, and implement initiatives that enhance organizational performance and culture.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations and provide guidance to department heads, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive key projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
Act as a liaison between the executive team and staff, facilitating effective communication and information flow.
Analyze organizational performance metrics and develop actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Manage special projects and initiatives, from conception through execution, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment.
Provide mentorship and leadership to junior staff members, cultivating their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, with at least 5 years in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic position.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems creatively, with a focus on results.
Experience in non-profit or public sector organizations is a plus.
