This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, focusing on team development, process automation, and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and manage a global IT team of three members (Systems Administrator and two IT Support specialists)Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvementBridge time zone differences and ensure effective collaboration between US and Israeli team membersProvide mentorship and technical guidance to team membersStrategic Planning & Execution- Define and implement quarterly OKRs aligned with company objectives- Establish, track, and report team KPIs to the CTO- Create and maintain IT operational dashboards- Develop and execute the IT department's annual strategy and budgetTechnical LeadershipIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automation across IT operationsStreamline helpdesk and user administration processesDevelop and maintain IT standard operating proceduresImplement tools and systems to increase team efficiencyProvide technical oversight for major IT initiativesGuide the team in implementing security best practicesEvaluate and recommend new technologies and solutionsParticipate in hands-on technical work as neededRequirements7+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in a leadership roleExperience managing distributed teams across different time zonesAdvanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and systemsExperience with automation tools and scriptingKnowledge of cybersecurity best practicesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCultural awareness and ability to work across different regions
