IT Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to manage and develop our global IT team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, focusing on team development, process automation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and manage a global IT team of three members (Systems Administrator and two IT Support specialists)
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Bridge time zone differences and ensure effective collaboration between US and Israeli team members
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members

Strategic Planning & Execution

- Define and implement quarterly OKRs aligned with company objectives
- Establish, track, and report team KPIs to the CTO
- Create and maintain IT operational dashboards
- Develop and execute the IT department's annual strategy and budget

Technical Leadership

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across IT operations
Streamline helpdesk and user administration processes
Develop and maintain IT standard operating procedures
Implement tools and systems to increase team efficiency
Provide technical oversight for major IT initiatives
Guide the team in implementing security best practices
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions
Participate in hands-on technical work as needed

Requirements
7+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones
Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems
Experience with automation tools and scripting
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Cultural awareness and ability to work across different regions
