About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineering Group Manager to lead and drive the infrastructure, maintenance, and development of our data platforms.

In this role, you will take a key leadership position, managing multiple teams and overseeing production infrastructure.

You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our data systems.

Success in this role requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adapt to new technologies quickly, and stay ahead of industry trends.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams across the organization to ensure our data systems meet the diverse needs of applications and business requirements.

Who we are looking for:

5+ years of experience in data-related leadership roles, with at least 2 years managing and mentoring data engineering groups.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data stack tools such as SQL Server, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Experience with relational, columnar, and NoSQL databases.
Experience working in an AWS cloud environment.
Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or Kinesis for real-time data processing.
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
Independent, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field.
High proficiency in English.
Strong initiative, a positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail.
