Advanced Associate Engineer, Tools Mechanical Engineering

The Advanced Associate Engineer will support laser machining engineering activities in order to test, inspect and modify prototype designs of capillaries or other tools. He/She will assist engineer to complete complex customer application support or equivalent analysis support and assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. He will also maintain the laboratory and regularly fill laboratory inventory.
Operation of a laser machine for mass production and for the development of future products.
Specialization in all laser processes in the company. Running work programs led by the laser engineer- laboratory manager.
Production support and automation: loading, unloading and packing of parts. Packaging and preparation for sending for further production/mini mass production (in Israel and China).
Machine operation: controlling the loading and running of parameters on the laser machine, running development and production processes and operator review on the machine monitor.
Order and organization: gathering information, documenting and monitoring the results and parameters of the machine and the process.
Responsible for managing the periodic maintenance for the laser machines in the factory.
Inventory management and tracking in Excel, management of complete purchase orders for the laboratory: direct contact with the factory in China, contact with suppliers in Israel to receive quotes and save costs.
