The dynamic nature of financial markets ensures perpetual mental stimulation.About the RoleWe are looking for a data analyst to join our Risk team. We seek a person with superb analytical skills, sincere interest in finance and markets, vigorous intellectual curiosity, a knack to find practical solutions to real-world problems, and the desire to work independently and drive projects from idea to completion.Responsibilities include:Analyzing complex data sets, seeing beyond numbers, and helping inform, improve and execute clever business decisions.Handling end-to-end analyses: defining the question, gathering the data, suggesting solutions, researching, drawing relevant conclusions and presenting actionable recommendationsPartnering with the Risk, Operations Research, Algo and Trading teamsPerforming ad-hoc in-depth analyses of our implementation and executionConstructing scripts, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance and detect anomaliesKeeping our data sources complete, precise and reliableRequirementsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalentRoughly 3-6 years of experience as a data analystOutstanding analytical & technical skills and a passion for dataAdvanced SQL with experience in querying large and complex data sets. Experience in one or more programming language, preferably PythonEffective team playerSolid communication skillsAdvantage:Experience with financial marketsExperience with data analysis and visualization frameworks like Spotfire, Tableau, or simila
