QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

Ensure the high quality of the product, maintain and enhance the regression test coverage
Understand complex systems and translate product requirements into robust test case scenarios
Develop and Automate tests for new & existing features
Enhance and maintain the automation infrastructure
Execute test runs of diverse test cases
Collaborate with developer, product & devops teams for workflow enhancements
Monitor and analyze test results
Investigate, troubleshoot, report & track bugs
Generate detailed reports on testing progress, test results, and quality metrics

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent level of English - speaking and writing skills - Must
2+ years of experience in manual testing UI & API
2+ years of experience in Web automation
Experience coding in Python - Must
Proficiency with Selenium & Pytest - Must
Experience with version control, preferably Git - Must
Results oriented, self-learner, problem solver with a ‘can do' attitude
A strong eye for detail and a passion for clear communication
A team player, capable of working independently
Experience integrating AI tools into testing workflows – advantage
Knowledge of performance or security testing – a plus

Preferred Qualifications

BA degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or a related field – advantage
Experience working in a Product company with an Agile development process
Familiar with infrastructure for scalable deployments and CICD processes (GitLab CI preferred)
Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools & technologies to enhance testing processes
Familiar with Object Oriented principals & Page Object Model design pattern
Experience with Test Management tools
Multitasking capabilities to handle various priorities & switch tasks regularly
Familiarity with Databases & SQL
Experience with Performance testing methodologies & tools is a plus
Strong organizational & time-management skills, along with the ability to multitask and manage your time to meet deadlines
