Art Director

Front Story is launching an exciting new company and seeking key talent for our innovative startup. We are looking for a highly creative and data-driven Art Director to lead the visual design and user experience (UX) of our mobile gaming entertainment platform. You will be responsible for crafting an engaging and intuitive platform that delights our users and drives retention. This is a hands-on lead role, where in the future you will also build and manage a team of designers.

Responsibilities:

Visual Design:

Develop a comprehensive visual style guide for the mobile platform that aligns with our brand identity.
Design compelling user interfaces (UI) that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Create eye-catching icons, illustrations, and animations that enhance the user experience.
Ensure visual consistency across all aspects of the platform.
Build the company’s brand and marketing materials.

User Experience (UX):

Define user flows and information architecture to optimize navigation and usability.
Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.

Data Analysis:

Analyze user data to identify areas for improvement.
Use data to inform design decisions and optimize the user experience.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of design initiatives.

Team Leadership (Phase Two):

Build and mentor a team of talented designers.
Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to your team.
Foster a collaborative and creative environment.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on mobile gaming.
Proven track record of creating visually stunning and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
Data-driven creative abilities – measure creative objects and evaluate creative effects over performance.
Demonstrated creative thinking and experience developing and defending creative ideas and solutions.
Experience recruiting talent and developing creative teams.

Skills:

Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Deep understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
Strong data analysis and visualization skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for mobile gaming and emerging technologies.
