Description

As a Data Engineer at Zengo, you will be responsible for our data architecture, lifecycle and pipelines from the different sources we get data from, through our DWH, to our product. Your role will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, Build, and Operate the infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from a wide variety of data sources.
Specify and manage functional / non-functional business requirements and data needs for different functions within the company.
Work with internal stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Software Development, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure and business needs.

Develop and maintain comprehensive business reports using data inferences and visualization tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in software development. Programming skills in Python, including data manipulation and script automation.
Data Engineering: Proven track record in designing and implementing ETL pipelines, data integration, and data transformation processes.
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS Services such as Lambda, S3, DMS, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift.
SQL and Data Modeling: Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
Experience in B2C mobile product company.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with mobile product metrics and KPIs.
Familiarity with big data technologies is a plus.
