Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Department Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Department Manager to join our advanced Engineering division.
What You Will Do:

Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-national team of engineers and professionals across Israel and India,

including employee development, professional mentorship, and knowledge retention processes.
Drive department strategies for Electrical and I&C engineering while implementing automation

and standardization initiatives across engineering workflows.
Oversee the full lifecycle of Electrical and I&C engineering activities,

from bidding and tender phases through detailed design, execution, and final commissioning.
Supervise the design and integration of HV/MV electrical systems, field instrumentation,

Motor Control Centers (MCC), and control system architectures.
Manage engineering deliverables, schedules, and engineering hour budgets in collaboration with external design firms,

global customers, and cross-functional teams.
Provide technical leadership and support for vendor evaluations, troubleshooting activities,

and on-site support at global project locations.
Collaborate closely with internal interfaces including Project Engineering, Procurement, Mechanical Engineering,

and Commercial departments to ensure alignment between engineering solutions, customer requirements, and business objectives.

Location: Kadima, Israel (with global travel as required)
Reports to: VP Project Engineering
What You Will Bring:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or a related technical field – Mandatory
M.Sc. in a relevant field – An Advantage
5+ years of experience in engineering design within a project-based company or process industry – Mandatory
3–5 years of experience managing engineering design teams – Mandatory
Proven experience working within a global corporate environment – Mandatory
Experience in the water desalination or water treatment industry – A Significant Advantage
Strong knowledge of control systems such as Siemens PCS7, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols
Proven experience in HV/MV electrical systems and MCC design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking, matrix, and cross-cultural global environment
