We are looking for an outstanding engineering team leader to join our research and development department in Herzliya during an exciting time of expansion. This role is central to aligning R&D efforts with our strategic aims while promoting cooperation across different functions and ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of our platform. You will be accountable for overseeing the R&D team, guiding the technical roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of secure, high-performing solutions that align with our product objectives. This role demands a balanced approach, involving both hands-on tasks, like code reviews and cloud infrastructure management, and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in integrating security protocols and maintaining infrastructure integrity to protect user data and privacy. - 6+ years in R&D or engineering roles, with at least 4 years in a management position. - Proven experience leading product development teams with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end development, security practices, and infrastructure management. - Demonstrated ability to combine hands-on technical engagement with strategic planning in dynamic, growth-oriented environments. - Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in Node.js and React, with a strong grasp of full-stack development practices. - Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructures (Azure/AWS/GC), DevOps, and security within cloud-based platforms. - Proficiency in modern software development practices, including code reviews, testing, and deployment. - Familiarity with secure coding practices, data protection, and industry compliance standards. - Understanding of WordPress/PHP is a plus.
