You will lead our core distribution engine and RTB systems, expanding product reach and bridging product, data science, and engineering to drive measurable business impact.

Your Impact and Mission:

• Own the RTB roadmap: partner cross-functionally to decide what we build, in what order, and why - optimizing bidding, auction logic, pricing and floors, win-rate, margins, and supply/demand quality
• Lead, mentor, and coach Engineers and Data Scientists, fostering a culture of high autonomy, accountability, and technical ownership
• Drive continuous progress and improvement: AI adoption, technological innovation, and new product directions
• Collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Finance on supply and demand priorities, partner integrations, and revenue targets
• Set engineering standards for a high-throughput, low-latency system: reliability, observability, incident response, and cost efficiency

Your Experience, Mindset, and Skills:

• 7+ years of software or data-heavy engineering experience, including 2+ years managing teams of 5+ (with proven experience leading tech leads or senior ICs)
• Demonstrated ability to own technical roadmaps and align engineering execution directly with business and revenue metrics
• Deep hands-on experience with large-scale, low-latency architectures and high-throughput data pipelines
• Strong software engineering foundation (e.g., Python, Java)
• Proven ability to partner with Data Scientists: analyze experiments, challenge models, and evaluate technical trade-offs
• Hands-on technical leadership style, guiding architectural decisions, engineering standards, and people development
• Production-level experience adopting AI tools (agentic coding, MCPs, governance) to drive engineering velocity and scale
• Delivery-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environments
• Exceptional problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

It can be a great plus if you have:

• End-to-end programmatic expertise across both buy-side and sell-side mechanics (DSP, SSP, header bidding, and Google Ad Manager / AdX)
• Proven background in ML-driven bidding, pacing, and yield optimization
