Group Leader

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Leader to join our innovative and energetic team. As a Group Leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our microservices platform, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Additionally, you will be a key customer-facing representative, leveraging your expertise to work closely with our offshore clients and stakeholders, requiring excellent English-speaking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Oversee the design and development of our microservices platform, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Engage closely with offshore customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Ensure designs and implementations are compliant with specifications and industry best practices.
Drive continuous improvement by exploring and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
Support the delivery and customer support teams in implementing successful projects based on the platform.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code as needed.

Requirements:

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
Excellent customer-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively representing the company to offshore clients.
Proven experience in server-side/enterprise application development.
Extensive experience with Java 11 and Spring framework.
Proficiency with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Solid understanding of clustering and microservices-based architecture.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kiali) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent leadership abilities.
Customer-oriented approach with a proven track record of working effectively with offshore clients.
Ability to work in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.
Self-learner and passionate about new technologies.
