Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled student who wants to learn how to run tests on production and live to tell the tale. This is your opportunity to join a professional team, as well as learn and share knowledge with Wix’s teams around the world. In your day-to-day, you will:

Think like a Wix user and do your best to make sure that every possible scenario they could encounter is fully tested

Develop and execute manual test cases for new features

Participate in manual regression QA cycles

Initiate and execute tests without having a detailed test case

Take an active part in influencing the design, UX, and product requirements from a QA perspective

Keep engagement up with a high-speed development process and ongoing deliveries, executing and adjusting your test cases accordingly

Work alongside Wix's amazing marketing group and talented designers at a fast pace to deliver stunning sites to millions of users

Join Wix’s QA guild, take part in cross-company activities, and use the guild to grow your testing professionalism and skills

Qualifications

Studying for a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

One and a half to 2 years remaining of your studies

A creative and ambitious student with a passion for consumer-facing digital products and great customer service

Exceptional time management skills and able to work at least 3 days a week, 80 hours a month (we’re flexible during exam periods)

Excellent English level

A deep sense of responsibility, owning what you do to deliver high-quality products and support our end users

An open-minded person with a growth mindset, you’re eager to learn new things and share your knowledge with peers

A proactive problem-solver with great communication and collaboration skills

Familiarity with development methodologies and tools or experience in the Software Quality Assurance (SW QA) sphere - an advantage
