Junior Data Analyst

We’re seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst (or advanced student) to support our smart-farming SaaS platform. You will track and analyze costs and KPIs—such as cloud usage, notification expenses (SMS/voice), and cellular connectivity—to help validate and refine our monetization strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Cost Monitoring:
Gather data on cloud services, alarms, notifications, and device connectivity costs.
Build and maintain dashboards/reports to track cost trends and anomalies.
KPI Tracking:
Track SaaS metrics: cost per controller, active devices, alarm volume, usage tiers.
Highlight deviations and suggest efficiency improvements.
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze cost-per-feature and cost-per-user vs. current pricing.
Provide insights on SaaS tier profitability and recommend pricing optimizations.
Tool Development:
Create analysis tools using Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms like Power BI.
Coordinate with Dev/Ops to access data sources and automate reports.
Required Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management (תעשייה וניהול), or a related field.
Strong skills with data tools: Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills
Experience with SaaS or IoT cost analytics.
Familiarity with cloud billing platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Exposure to data visualization best practices and dashboard creation.
Prior internship or academic project in cost analysis or KPI tracking.
Work Setup
Part-time role (~15–20 hrs/week), flexible schedule.
Mentored by senior Product, Finance, and Tech Leads.
