Demo UX Designer

Datarails is a leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform that streamlines data consolidation, reporting, and planning processes. It allows finance teams to continue using their familiar Excel spreadsheets and financial models while automating data integration from many software types, ERPs, and CRMs.

As a Demo UX designer, you'll design and develop the company’s demo assets used by the Revenue teams. You will work closely with the technical team to craft visually engaging, user-friendly, and brand-consistent experiences highlighting our platform’s capabilities. The primary focus will be on designing the look and feel of the demo environments, ensuring that they are not only functional but also aligned with our brand’s visual identity, as well as providing a seamless user experience.

This role requires a strong understanding of both design principles and user experience in the context of a tech-driven product.

Requirements:

Experience designing user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences, and a strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and best practices
Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on brand consistency and visual design principles
Experience working with Figma - a plus
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel, including Excel brand kit design, and experience with data visualization concepts (dashboards and decks)
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment and manage multiple projects with deadlines
Excellent communication skills, and a competent level of English proficiency

What You'll Do:

Design Demo Environments: Collaborate with the team (SCs, AEs, Presales Engineers) to design visually appealing and intuitive demo environments that showcase our platform in action, as well as POCs outputs.
Brand Consistency: Ensure that all demo environments, presentations, and assets are fully aligned with the company’s branding guidelines, visual identity, and messaging standards
Lead a User-Centered Design Approach: Apply UX best practices to create designs that are not only visually engaging but also easy to navigate and interact with, ensuring an optimal user experience
Prototype and Wireframe: Create prototypes and wireframes for Excel reports and dashboards, based on industry trends and design research, and apply best practices.
