Principal Software Engineer - Microsoft Threat Protection

Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

2. Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers, providing technical direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

3. Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and integrate innovative solutions into the software development process.

4. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and ensure the quality and reliability of the software.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and user needs.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
12+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale cloud production systems.
Extensive experience with application and system monitoring.
Team player with strong communication, collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about tackling unsolved problems.
Autodidactic abilities to ramp up quickly on new technologies Attention to details and passion for quality engineering.
