Job Description: Quality Assurance Engineer An AS9100-certified company producing energy-absorbing solutions for aerospace, eVTOL, and land defense systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer . The role involves implementing AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) processes, conducting quality audits, managing and controlling supplier quality, and internal manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain AS9100-compliant QMS processes. Develop, and maintain quality documentation, checklists, and procedures. Manage and monitor supplier quality, including audits, evaluations, and follow-ups. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and Source Inspections. Implement deviation management process, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Material Review Boards (MRB) for disposition and resolution of quality issues. Oversee and ensure compliance with special processes such as welding, coating, painting, casting, and extrusion. Conduct Acceptance Test Reports (ATRs) and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Requirements: Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, or a Practical Engineering degree in a related field. Certification in quality engineering (CQE) or related areas is an advantage. Experience At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or similar industries. Skills and Knowledge Experience with AS9100 requirements and QMS implementation is an advantage. Proficiency in creating and maintaining quality documentation, checklists, and records both in Hebrew and English. Experience in implementation and execution of FAI, MRB, 8D, APQP, processes, and related documentation. Ability to manage NCRs and CAPA, with a focus on timely resolution and continuous improvement Familiar with manufacturing special processes, including welding, coating, painting, casting, and industrial manufacturing process such as extrusion, assembly. Skilled in managing suppliers and ensuring supplier quality through audits, evaluations, and corrective actions. Experience with ERP systems, preferably PRIORITY. Additional Skills Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong social and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
