About this role

The Staff Software Engineer's main responsibilities include developing customer-facing products, enhancing medical workflows, integrating with our AI solutions, and scaling our product’s technical aspects, as well as expanding our product offerings.

Responsibilities
Work as an integral part of our senior (and exceptional) development team.
You will have a leading role, a central responsibility, and will be the owner for the design and development of many of our components and projects.
Receive end-to-end ownership for product features from ideation to post-deployment, and work closely with our Product and UX teams to bring the team’s vision and mission to life.
Be trusted with autonomy, freedom, and influence to design solutions and make complex technical decisions, in a critical position for the company’s growth.

Requirements
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in building complex systems
Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals – object-oriented design, code optimization, and complexity, while maintaining elegant and effective technological solutions, and a love for clean code.
Hands-on experience in building high-performance cloud production services end-to-end, including architecture design, research, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Cloud infra – AWS stack or equivalent, serverless eco system (especially Lambda) - advantage
PostgreSQL or equivalent - advantage
Experience in high-scale projects (a lot of data, a lot of requests, a lot of events) with end-to-end ownership.
Containers and Orchestration – Docker, K8s, Terraform - advantage
A “can-do” attitude and a strong sense of ownership
Independent learning capability and curiosity without boundaries
Strong ability to lead end-to-end development processes
Passion for building generic and robust software architecture
BSc/MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent - advantage
Alumni of an IDF technology unit - advantage
