About The Position

Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems with a track record of delivering high-end, customized, cost-effective solutions for mission readiness. Bagira’s simulators are being used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers at more than 40 sites worldwide.

Bagira is looking for an Integration Specialist to join our engineering team at Bagira.

As an Integration Specialist, you will work on our highly scalable, multi-disciplinary complex systems, collaborating with professionals across the different units of Bagira, and ensuring that our systems and infrastructure is set up for next-generation technology.

What will your job look like

Preparing new setups (wiring, hardware configurations, firmware, and OS installations etc.)
Learning, investigating, testing, and implementing new equipment and firmware, into existing environments
Building automation, installations, and continuous integration (Azure Pipelines)
Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance (Tier 3)
Working closely with our technical teams (architects, developers, PMs, and POs) to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, replicating customer environments and network problems.
Requirements

Previously experience as Integration\Application Engineer, IT System Administrator, Professional Services OR recent graduate in Computer Science/Information Systems/equivalent
Graduate of a DevOps Engineer course - An advantage
Knowledge and understanding of operating systems (Windows – A must, Linux - Advantage)
High technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Familiarity with SQL basic queries
Knowledge and understanding of network topology - An advantage
Ability to write technical and procedures documentation - An advantage
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) - An advantage
Strong attention to detail
High level of independence and self-management
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
