Our Software Platform Sensing Group develops the sensors infrastructure of the autonomous vehicle. The group implements key platform software components such as : sensing, camera compression, IPP on real time environment. The software Platform sensing support and responsible of implementing and debug on multiple platforms and OS.

What will YOU do:

• Provides solutions to non-routine problems of more moderate scope and complexity.

• Not a supervisor role but may lead and provide direction to a team of individuals.

• Working together with multi-disciplinary System and SW groups in definition, designing and testing of the new technologies which are going to be used on the GM vehicles with autonomous capabilities.

• The job includes designing and development of new testing environments and automatic setups, installation of testing infrastructure, and testing tools.

• You will also debug SW and HW products to ensure correct behavior, determine failures root causes and to recommend on corrective actions together with our SW and algorithm groups.

What will you do:

• We're looking for a talented automation developer to join the group, helping the team to raise our quality standards. By developing different automation environments for testing various software and algorithm applications.

• Root causing automation infrastructure defects.

• Develop and maintain DevOPS solutions.

• Maintenance and development of automated testing environment to improve robustness and efficiency.

• Improve testing and regression environment by focus on adding automation features.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

• B.Sc. In computer science, information systems, and any other IT oriented scientific degree or equivalent work experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in development of functional testing env and QA of complex systems or backend development experience.

• Practical experience in designing and developing SW - Python preferred.

• Expert level understanding in Git, Jenkins, Docker, K8, micro-services architecture and distributed computing

• Knowledge in Agile, Scrum and Continuous Integration

• Excellent spoken and written English
