About this role

Just Eat Takeaway (JET) is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the JET for Business engineering team and drive the growth of our B2B offering.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap of JET for business. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping JET’s global B2B offering and fueling the B2B growth.

Additionally, you will be responsible for leveraging JET Pay’s capabilities in other fields, supporting JET’s business strategy and expansion.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our TLV office & 2 days working from home

As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering function responsible for JET’s B2B product suite and underlying technical infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities include:

Develop and execute the B2B product and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with JET’s business strategy and objectives.
Define and implement an engineering roadmap that supports the scalability, performance, and security of JET for Business applications and infrastructure.
Manage and mentor engineering managers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative engineering culture. This includes addressing managerial challenges, people’s ongoing needs and maintaining a healthy working environment.
Drive collaboration with the global teams, to promote the JET Pay product growth and expansion, to meet evolving business needs.
Lead technical initiatives to improve platform reliability, optimize costs, and enhance the B2B payment ecosystem.

What will you bring to the table?
Proven experience leading engineering teams in a global, technology-driven organization, working closely with Director-level executives.
A resilient and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in fast-paced, transformational environments.
Experience in developing an engineering culture that drove innovation and embraced change while maintaining a commercially used, highly available platform.
Strong expertise in modern software architectures, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
Experience in establishing global engineering processes that drive high-quality technical outcomes.
Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused, innovative approach, capable of balancing strategic priorities with technical execution.
