Technical writer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating clear, concise, and engaging documentation to support our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate complex technical information in an understandable manner to engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, analyze technical concepts, and produce high-quality documentation such as how-to guides and API references. Your expertise in structuring and presenting information effectively will help ensure that our customers enjoy a state-of-the-art developer experience.

What will be your primary goals
Write high-impact documentation for Stigg to enable an exceptional developer experience, including: integration, deployment and configuration guides, API references, tutorials, walkthroughs, sample apps, and best practice articles.
Own, establish, plan and execute our doc site infrastructure and information architecture - define how information should be documented and presented to our customers and select the right tooling to maintain and continually improve our docs.
Apply your writing and technical skills to create compelling user-friendly content that shows developers how to use Stigg to solve their toughest monetization problems.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, up-to-date with new feature releases, and adheres to established style guidelines.
Edit content contributed by R&D for technical accuracy, grammar, usage, adherence to style and fit within the information architecture.
Conduct usability testing of documentation and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience of 3+ years documenting cutting-edge technologies for developers or equivalent work experience (for example: as a software developer pr product manager).
Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical information clearly.
Passion for writing with a focus on clarity, straightforward storytelling, and an information architect’s approach to organizing material.
Experience in documenting SDKs, APIs and similar tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with markup languages such as HTML or Markdown.

Bonus points
Technical background that will allow you to quickly learn the nature of our product and its technical aspects: API, SDK, CLI, deployment methods, integration considerations and more.
Ability to understand and test code samples in one of the following programming languages: Node.js, Python, Java.
Experience in developing short tutorial videos.
Experience in creating effective and attractive diagrams.
Basic SQL proficiency and understanding of relational databases.
