Reports to: Chemical Engineering Manager

Location: Ink Plant, Kiryat-Gat

We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in process engineering principles and a proven ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives. Experience in the formulation industry is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality within the formulation industry.
Process Design: Contribute to the design and development of new processes or modifications to existing ones specifically tailored to ink applications.
Troubleshooting: Provide support in diagnosing and resolving process-related issues within the printing context.
Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in printing operations.
Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of process documentation, including flowcharts, procedures, and specifications related to formulation processes.
Equipment Selection: Participate in the selection and evaluation of process equipment specifically used in formulation areas.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and standards within the process engineering industry.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other engineering teams, operators, safety, and quality control to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

Qualifications

B.Sc in Chemical engineering, Material engineering, Biotechnology engineering or a related field – mandatory. M.Sc – an advantage.
2-3 years of experience in a process engineering role, with experience in the formulation industry being a strong preference.
Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., PI, JMP, AutoCAD, WinCC) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hands-on attitude.
Requires good written and spoken English.
