Process Engineers | Israel & USA

For a defense company, we’re recruiting for two positions:

📍 Krayot area, Israel — no relocation required

📍 Indiana, USA — relocation for 2–3 years, expected to begin in June 2027

About the roles

Support the design, establishment and commissioning of manufacturing processes and facilities. Work closely with engineering, operations, safety, quality teams and equipment suppliers to solve technical challenges and support production.

Israel-based role — Krayot area

• Design and improve manufacturing processes.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, and material and heat balances.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Conduct process risk assessments and prepare technical documentation.

USA relocation role

• Provide on-site technical support throughout plant establishment and start-up.
• Support equipment selection, installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer, train local teams and support supplier qualification.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams in Israel.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Materials or Mechanical Engineering. Chemistry graduates may also be considered for the USA role.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience establishing and commissioning process facilities.
• Strong technical English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple teams.

Additional requirements for the Israel role: hands-on experience with PFD/P&ID, material and heat balances, HAZOP/PHA, and explosion-proof equipment.

Experience with energetic materials, propellants or explosives is a significant advantage.
