PSD Technical Manager & Wayside coordinator

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Managing an engineering team, responsible of engineering development for PSD for TLV GL project.
Support the Sub-System Manager for all technical matters (PSD/AFC/RSG).
Ensure planning, documentation and scope changes follow-up for all technical activities.
For the 3 PSD / AFC / RSG subsystems, be the “head” technical representative in front of the project and the customer.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Elaborate the sub-system architecture definition, functional specification, performance requirements and interfaces for tender and project phases in accordance with contractual documents.
Ensure the technical interface for the definition of his sub-systems.
Participate in technical meetings with suppliers / system / customer.
Participate to freeze favorable interfaces with the Civil Work entities.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Master University Degree in Engineering.

Experience

Electrical/Electronics engineer, specialized in systems inter-operability with minimum 5-10 years-experience in PSD systems and interfaces within transportation systems or equivalent experience of such multiscale projects.
Good Communications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (customer).
Structured and organized with Hands-on approach.
English operational in read/writing and technical meetings and country language according to activity location.

Competencies & Skills

Team player.
Known ALSTOM process and methods (An advantage).
Innovation: Able to identify and submit/integrate innovations proposed by the suppliers (architectures and/or equipment)
Able to participate to specific development (internal or external with the supplier).
English Current.
Availability to travel as needed (Suppliers, etc.)
