Frontend Engineer

Foundational is on a mission to enable data teams to move faster while keeping trust in their data. Data related incidents are way too common in organizations, costing time and money.

We are a fast-growing start-up company, located in Tel Aviv, with a very strong founding team (Ex-8200, Google, etc.). We are looking for candidates who are passionate about bringing a new feature from ideation to the customer’s hands, while solving complex challenges and building scalable infrastructure.

*What You’ll Do*

* *End-to-end development* of customer facing features (work closely with product on definition and design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring, optimization)
* *Contribute to product, technical and architectural decisions*
* Conducting design and code reviews
* *Solve real customer needs* - you’ll interact with customers on their product needs and ensure they’re met.
* *Work on challenging problems* like complex UI components, graph related algorithms, asynchronous flows.

*What You’ll Bring*

* 5+ years of experience in building SaaS software using a modern framework (React, Next.JS, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc..)
* Experience writing backend APIs (in Python or other high level language) - Plus
* Solid understanding of software design principles, state management, data structures, algorithms, etc.
* Understanding of *SPA/PWA architecture*, state management (Redux/Zustand/Recoil), and API integrations.
* Familiarity with *performance optimization*, accessibility, and responsive design.
* *Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive*, with a customer-focused mindset.

*Advantages*

* Experience with SSR/SSG.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
* Background in UI/UX design or working with design systems.
