Demand Planner

Contribution

The role requires in hands-on forecasting experience and expertise in forecasting software. It is achieve forecast accuracy and minimized bias for all material/plant combinations within the assigned business unit. The global Demand planner will work collaboratively with the business supply chain leader, sales, marketing and, potentially directly with customers and/or distributors.

Responsibilities

Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.
Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
Prepare production planning needs based on Markets demand
Work with customers, sales, and marketing to improve forecast accuracy.
Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands
Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Coordinate shipments schedule with customers
Maintain inventory levels, cost reduction and availability based product life cycle
Address demand related queries and issues in a timely manner.
Schedule monthly forecast meetings with all customers as required
Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans.

Requirements

Industrial Engineering or logistics degrees
4-5 years’ experience working in planning, Supply chain
Industrial Engineering or logistics degrees
Experience with ERP systems & Microsoft Office, strong proficiency in Excel
Fast learner, Independent and autodidact, who has the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical & communication skills
Excellent English
Customer oriented with the ability to influence and motivate internal and external partners
