Engineering Manager

Enercon Technologies is a leading company in the field of power supplies and communication systems, specializing in the development and manufacturing of customized power solutions for military, civil aviation, and space applications, is seeking an Engineering Manager.

The role includes managing all engineering functions within the company: leading engineering teams and NPI processes, configuration management, production files, and providing engineering support to the company’s manufacturing sites. The manager will play a key role in promoting operational excellence, improving engineering processes, and building effective work interfaces with R&D, product, and operations departments – manufacturing, quality, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering department.
Oversee manufacturing engineering and provide support to production lines to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
Full responsibility for NPI processes – transferring products from development to mass production.
Manage the Configuration Control team.
Manage the preparation and implementation of production files and provide engineering support to the company’s plants.
Collaborate with R&D, product, and operations departments – manufacturing, quality, and procurement – to improve processes and performance.
Lead cross-organizational projects to improve and streamline engineering processes.
Manage professional engineering teams.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering – mandatory; M.Sc. – an advantage.
At least 5 years of experience managing an engineering department in a multidisciplinary electronics manufacturing company – mandatory.
Proven experience leading NPI processes, configuration management, manufacturing engineering, and production files – mandatory.
Experience working with R&D and manufacturing teams.
Experience with PLM systems (Agile – an advantage) and ERP systems (Priority – an advantage).
High-level English (spoken and written).
Experience working with predefined work plans and KPIs.
Background in the development and/or manufacturing of power supplies – strong advantage.
Experience in managing teams and multiple interfaces.
Strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and change management capabilities.
Ability to work in a multi-interface environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work under pressure and perform overtime when required.
Willingness to travel abroad for business purposes.
