Job summary

Spot by NetApp is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a team of developers in developing and maintaining our product's infrastructures and technologies.
As a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions based on microservices architecture, databases, and APIs that align with our business needs. You will also guide a team of developers to ensure projects are completed in a timely and successful manner.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of designing and implementing infrastructure, databases, and resilient scalable applications in a cloud environment. Experience with Elasticsearch and MySQL is a significant advantage. Familiarity with other data storage solutions and microservices architectures will also be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the team in designing, developing, and maintaining code infrastructure that supports our business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on team lead experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, c# etc.).
• Deep understanding of databases and data collection processes.
• Experience with TimescaleDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
