IT team leader

A leading technology solutions provider serving major enterprises is seeking an experienced IT team leader for a full-time position. This role involves managing and operating the companys IT infrastructure while leading a team of four engineers, with approximately 70% hands-on work. The position includes overseeing mission-critical production environments that require high availability, driving operational excellence, and advancing technological innovation across on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four IT/ system engineers, fostering operational excellence and technical innovation.
* Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructures based on VMware and Hyper-V
* Oversee Storage systems and two active data -center facilities.
* Manage networking environments, backup systems, and update distribution platforms.
* Operate and maintain Microsoft-based environments, including Windows Servers Microsoft 365, and related services.
* Lead cross-organizational infrastructure projects across both on-prem server environments and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure
* Develop, manage, and execute infrastructure upgrade and maintenance work plans.
* Ensure stability, performance, and high availability in production environments.
