Search Evaluator - Student Position

Fiverr is looking for a Search Evaluator (student position) to join the Search team. We're looking for a creative and highly-motivated team player who can help us improve Fiverr’s matching experience.

The Search Evaluator is responsible for the process of evaluating the accuracy and performance within the context of Fiverr’s matching systems such as search engine and conversational search. The position includes tagging and analyzing various data types, mainly search results, identifying essential relevance phenomena that reoccur in the data and providing feedback to the algo team in order to improve the matching experience.

The candidate must be super analytical, independent, and a quick learner, with the ability to work 3 days a week.

Requirements:

Top-notch English level - a must
Student for BA/MA/BSC with 3-4 semesters left to graduation
Ability to work at least 3 days a week
Proficiency in Google Sheets (pivot table and vlookup) and Slides
Basic knowledge of SQL - advantage

What am I going to do?:

Define evaluation goals with the relevant stakeholders, taking full ownership of evaluation tasks.
Tag and analyze various data types, mainly search results.
Identify and categorize different characteristics in our search results that will enrich our data and feedback to improve the search experience.
Build protocols, and set policies and methods for running search and other evaluation activities.
