Job Description
As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for software/hardware integration tasks, system setups, software upgrades, and maintenance to support the development and testing of advanced features that link vehicle systems with back-office infrastructure, on a large scale.
Responsibilities:
Own setups, upgrades, and day-to-day maintenance of lab and vehicle setups, including remote access setups for overseas locations.
Lead integration activities, encompassing both hardware and software integrations on benches and test vehicles.
Participate and contribute to triage/debugging activities with both internal and external issues.
Develop tools to optimize development work on benches and vehicles.
Acting as the main point of contact for coordination with lab teams in multiple countries and a vehicle integration team.
Conduct field tests and provide actionable feedback to development teams to help resolve identified issues.
Qualifications:
Academic education in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science - mandatory.
Fluent English language skills (reading, comprehension, and writing) - mandatory.
Past experience in the automotive industry - major advantage.
2+ years of experience in software and hardware integration engineering - advantage.
Past experience with microservices and backend services - advantage
Proficiency in computer hardware and software knowledge, including internet applications, network settings, operating systems and troubleshooting - advantage.
Experience with networking standards such as CAN and Ethernet - advantage.
Experience working with automation tools and scripting - advantage.
Experience with Jira - advantage.
