we are looking for a Business Development Director.
Business Development Director, in partnership with the existing team, will drive growth of Mastercard Advisors business in the South-East Europe division, one of Europes fastest growing regions, including Israel, Romania, Croatia, Serbia & Bulgaria. Their efforts with be focused on developing new business and creating strong partnerships with financial institutions, retailers, FinTechs and Government entities within payments and beyond.
Business Growth & Sales Execution
Shape and execute Mastercard Advisors growth strategy for Israel, as part of the SEE division
Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signature, while managing a healthy and transparent pipeline
Identify emerging opportunities to drive new business
Develop compelling, well-structured proposals and present confidently to senior executives
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships across C-level and mid-management within existing accounts
Expand client base and uncover new opportunities (incl. partnerships)
Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for clients
Cross Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with local and regional product, client services, and sales teams to support strategic initiatives
Ensure seamless handover and collaboration with project delivery teams, identifying follow on opportunities
Leadership & Knowledge Building
Support recruiting, onboarding and development of team members
Contribute to new intellectual capital and internal best practices

Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm, payments/ banking expertise and experience in helping financial institutions at the executive leadership level is desirable
Native Hebrew speaker with advanced English proficiency
Strong sales track record and commercial mindset
Excellent communication, relationship‑building and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
High comfort operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Proficiency with GenAI tools to enhance productivity and delivery
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education Needed:
Undergraduate degree required
MBA or relevant post graduate degree (beneficial but not critical)
