seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives and support business operations. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, leading complex negotiations, licensing technologies, and tailoring solutions to customer needs. This position reports to the EVP Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop business models, conduct market analysis, and present opportunities to senior management
Identify, initiate, and manage strategic partnerships in target markets
Facilitate negotiation processes for significant business deals
License proprietary technologies to pharma and biotech companies
Adapt products/technologies to market and customer needs
Collaborate closely with internal teams including Product, Development, marketing, and legal
Represent the company at international conferences and meetings with investors and partners

Requirements:
Proven 5+ years of experience in business development market analytics within the pharma / biotech industries
Significant experience supporting deals full lifecycle - required
Strong technological background and deep understanding of life sciences / pharma
Experience in technology licensing - strong advantage
Excellent English (native level - advantage)
Outstanding interpersonal, marketing-oriented, analytical and negotiation skills
Relevant academic background (Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Biotechnology / Business Administration)
A self-motivated individual with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and turn action items into enhanced performance.
