Youll drive the automation strategy, lead our automation engineers team, and guide the integration of AI-based solutions into our test development processes ensuring efficiency, reliability, and innovation across our testing lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of automation engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across backend and frontend systems
Define and implement the overall automation strategy, frameworks, and tools
Write and review test plans based on product requirements and system architecture.
Drive the integration of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT-based agents) into the automation process for intelligent test generation and optimization
Perform and oversee manual testing where automation is not yet in place
Own the full testing lifecycle from design, implementation, and execution to reporting and analysis
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor testing coverage, quality, and progress
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stability and reliability of releases
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to align testing strategies with release goals
Participate in security, performance, and regression testing as needed
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing practices, tooling, and infrastructure

Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field advanced degree preferred
8+ years of experience in automation engineering in complex systems
3+ years of experience leading or mentoring a small technical team
Strong hands-on experience with Python must
Proven experience designing test frameworks and writing automated test cases must
Experience with Git and version control workflows must
Expertise with Selenium / Playwright for UI and API automation must
Experience working with AI agents (e.g., ChatGPT) and integrating AI into automation processes
Solid understanding of Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines
Background in fintech or cybersecurity an advantage
Strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide others
