We are looking for a seasoned BI Team Lead to oversee the development and scaling of our Business Intelligence function, with a strong emphasis on data warehouse architecture, modeling, and administration, alongside broader data engineering responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex data environments and wants to shape the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Scale the BI Team: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing BI and Data Engineering team. Oversee hiring, onboarding, and career growth of team members.
Own the BI & Data Warehouse Strategy: Define and execute the BI and DWH architecture roadmap, aligned with business and technical needs.
Data Modeling & Governance: Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models and ensure data governance and best practices across the warehouse.
Manage Data Warehouse Infrastructure: Oversee the administration of modern DWH platforms (e.g., ClickHouse, Trino, Druid), optimizing for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Deliver Robust Data Pipelines: Design and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Python, JavaScript, Jenkins, and Upsolver to ingest and transform raw data into analytical-ready structures.
Build BI Products: Drive the development of dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics using Tableau, Imply, or equivalent visualization tools.
Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a strategic partner to Data Engineering, Product, and Business teams to gather requirements, prioritize efforts, and deliver BI solutions that drive value.

Requirements:
Leadership Experience: 3+ years managing BI, Data Engineering, or DBA teams, with proven skills in mentorship, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership.
Data Warehouse Expertise: Strong experience with data warehouse design, dimensional modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas), partitioning strategies, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Big Data Architecture Knowledge: Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and query engines such as ClickHouse, Trino, or Druid.
Data Engineering Skills: 5+ years of experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow orchestration on cloud or hybrid platforms.
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python or equivalent languages for data processing and automation.
Visualization Tools: Strong command of Tableau, Imply, or similar tools to create impactful dashboards and exploratory interfaces.
Communication & Project Ownership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-centric environment.
