BI & Data Engineering Team Leader

A fast-growing mobile gaming company is looking for a BI Data Engineering Team Lead to lead its data modeling, analytics infrastructure, and BI engineering initiatives while managing a talented team and driving data excellence across the organization.

What You'll Do

✔ Lead and mentor the BI Data Engineering team, including onboarding and supporting new team members.

✔ Establish and optimize key processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

✔ Collaborate closely with Business Analytics, Game Economy, Monetization, User Acquisition, and Customer Support teams to enable data-driven decision making.

✔ Own and evolve the company's analytics data model and KPI framework, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability.

✔ Design, build, maintain, and optimize data models and analytics solutions that support business needs.

✔ Ensure high standards of data quality, testing, monitoring, and reliability across the analytics ecosystem.

✔ Drive best practices in Data Modeling, Analytics Engineering, and BI Development.

✔ Minimum of 2 years of management experience.

✔ Vast experience in data modeling.

✔ Expert-level SQL skills.

✔ 2+ years of experience with dbt.

✔ Extensive experience with Git.

✔ Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse (DWH) methodologies and best practices. (BigQuery is an advantage.)

✔ Experience building dashboards and transforming data into actionable insights using BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or similar. (Experience with Omni is an advantage.)

✔ Experience with data quality, observability, and validation frameworks such as Monte Carlo, Elementary, Soda, or similar tools is an advantage.

✔ B.A. / B.Sc. degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
