Requirements:
Category Manager EMS & PCB | Electronics Procurement | Israel A leading global company is seeking an experienced and strategic Category Manager to lead and manage the EMS & PCB procurement domain across its operations in Israel and worldwide.
This is a senior, high-impact role with responsibility for multi-million-dollar spend, strategic supplier partnerships, and driving excellence in the field of electronics sourcing. Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute the global category strategy for EMS and PCB
Lead matrix collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple business units
Manage and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers, including on-site visits
Lead complex contract negotiations, global agreements, and supplier performance management
Identify cost-saving opportunities and leverage the organizations scale for commercial advantage
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement processes
Provide professional guidance and training to category and procurement teams
Oversee cross-organizational initiatives to enhance operational and business efficiency
Use advanced procurement tools and data analytics to support decision-making Requirements:
7+ years of experience in EMS, PCB, or electronic components procurement must
Proven success managing large-scale, global procurement (tens of millions USD annually) must
Strong background in working with international suppliers and global negotiations must
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic and cross-functional sourcing initiatives
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities
Fluent in English written and spoken must
Academic degree -
Willingness to travel for supplier visits, both in Israel and abroad
