Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Technical Writer with a medical background to join our team. This role is ideal for a current MD student with strong writing skills and an interest in genetics, bioinformatics, or clinical diagnostics. Youll help translate complex scientific and clinical content into clear, user-friendly documentation that supports our users clinical geneticists, lab professionals, and researchers.
Responsibilities
Write and maintain high-quality internal and external documentation for clinical features, product workflows, and knowledge base content.
Translate scientific and technical information into clear language for various audiences.
Collaborate closely with product managers, clinicians, engineers, and designers to gather content and understand new features.
Contribute to the creation of training, educational, and support materials for diverse healthcare audiences.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time independently.
Nice to Have
Experience writing scientific or clinical content (e.g., papers, reports, blog posts, case summaries).
Exposure to variant interpretation, ACMG guidelines, or clinical genetics workflows.
Technical affinity experience using digital tools, EMRs, or bioinformatics platforms.
