Analytics Team Leader

The AV validation infrastructure team is looking for an experienced Analytics team lead to join us in our efforts to scale up our infrastructure and services.
The AV validation team is responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of the autonomous vehicle.

As the Analytics Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of analytics developers to develop innovative data-driven solutions that address business challenges and drive strategic decisions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, design analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in data analytics practices.
What will your job look like:
Lead a team of analytics developers by providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional growth.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful execution.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of analytics development projects, from task characterization and preprocessing to development and deployment.
Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from complex datasets.
Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in data.
Evaluate model performance and refine algorithms to improve predictive accuracy and business impact.
All you need is:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years experience in data analytics.
2+ years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Python, as well as in data manipulation and analysis - MUST
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An advantage:
Experience developing in modern Agile methodologies.
Experience with data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics development.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive results, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
