A Product Design Director within Central Growth is responsible for leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams to create innovative products that enhance user experiences across various platforms, with a specific focus on designing products and services for users who are just coming onto the Internet. This role involves strategic collaboration with engineering, product management, data science, UX research, and content design teams to ensure that products are valuable, user-friendly, and crafted to the highest standards. The director will shape product roadmaps, oversee multiple projects, and foster a culture of collaboration and personal growth within the design team. This role will be responsible for supporting Product Design teams in two distinct organizations and across two locations in Tel Aviv and North America and serve as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters in Tel Aviv, representing the site's interests and advocating for its needs within the broader organization.
Director, Product Design Responsibilities
Build and manage a talented and collaborative team of product designers and leaders
Drive collaboration and vision across the company to build alignment on priorities leading to product design and execution
Shape the product roadmap, both short term and long-term
Partner closely with product managers, engineers, content designers, user experience researchers, data scientists, and product growth analysts
Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met
Develop design talent and build a thriving culture where designers grow in their careers
Design and scale the organization and equip the team for success in their goals
Foster a strong, collaborative design practice.
