Director of Product Design

About Aidoc

Aidoc is the market leader in healthcare AI and has developed the world's largest clinical frontier model, supporting nearly 50 million patients each year.

Aidoc is deployed in more than 2,000 medical centers worldwide. Since our founding in 2016, Aidoc has raised over $500 million and achieved a record number of FDA-cleared solutions.

Medical diagnosis is hitting a breaking point, where the number of physicians hasn't kept up with the rapidly growing patient load. This leads to misdiagnosis and treatment delays that result in hundreds of thousands of deaths every year. Aidoc assists clinicians by precisely highlighting diseases directly on medical images, preventing misdiagnosis and ensuring that urgent patients receive the immediate attention they need.

About This Role

Shape the future of AI-powered clinical experiences.

At Aidoc, we’re building industry-leading clinical AI that helps healthcare teams improve patient outcomes and optimize clinical operations. Our AI platform delivers the right insights at the right moment, embedded directly into clinical workflows.

We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Product Design to lead our Product Design team and help define the next generation of AI-powered clinical experiences.

This is a player-coach leadership role. You’ll lead and mentor a team of experienced Product Designers, while staying close to the work yourself. You’ll help solve some of our most complex product and UX challenges to create products that clinicians trust, adopt, and love to use. You’ll shape our design direction and raise the bar for product quality across Aidoc.

What You’ll Do

• Define and drive Aidoc’s Product Design vision, principles, and strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of three senior Product Designers.
• Develop a deep understanding of clinical workflows and translate complex real-world challenges into simple, intuitive product experiences.
• Stay hands-on with high-impact and complex design challenges, from discovery through execution.
• Build a strong research-driven design culture centered on deep customer and workflow understanding.
• Shape AI-native experiences that fit naturally into clinicians’ daily workflows.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Executive leadership to influence product strategy and priorities.
• Establish and evolve best practices for UX research, usability testing, design systems, and continuous product validation.
• Raise the bar for craft, consistency, and product experience across the organization.

• 7+ years of experience in Product Design, ideally working on complex B2B, enterprise, or SaaS products.
• 3+ years of experience managing Product Designers, including coaching experienced or senior-level designers.
• Strong hands-on Product Design expertise across discovery, UX, interaction design, prototyping, and product delivery.
• A track record of owning complex product experiences and translating ambiguous problems into clear, intuitive solutions.
• Deep experience with user research, customer discovery, and usability testing.
• Experience building or evolving design systems and scalable design practices.
• Strong product thinking and systems thinking, with the ability to influence product strategy beyond the design function.
• Experience partnering closely with senior Product and Engineering leaders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions, challenge assumptions, and create alignment.
• Passion for AI and the future of human-AI collaboration.
• Healthcare, clinical workflow, or other complex regulated-domain experience is a strong advantage.

• Enjoy being both a design leader and a hands-on designer.
• Love spending time with customers and understanding how they actually work.
• Think in workflows and systems, not just individual screens.
• Know when to coach your team and when to personally dive into a difficult problem.
• Challenge assumptions through research, experimentation, and data.
• Care deeply about craft, quality, and execution.
• Can work comfortably with ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems.
• Inspire and elevate experienced designers without needing to micromanage them.
• Want your work to improve the lives of clinicians and patients every day.

• Be part of something big - using cutting-edge technologies to transform the Healthcare industry (while saving patients’ lives)
• We work in a hybrid model, with our new offices located at 34 HaMasger Street in Tel Aviv and parking for employees.
• Amazing and healthy breakfasts and lunches prepared daily by our personal chef!
• Stocked up kitchen & meal card
• Wellness: Aidoc employees-only gym, plus Pilates, Yoga, and functional workouts classes.
• Amazing culture - collaborative, transparent & fun!
• Attractive compensation package & benefits
