We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support engineer to join our IT Team.
This role is ideal for a tech-savvy individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for IT support. This is a part-time role, where you will work in-office two days a week and youll be available for support from home as overtime. In addition,youll provide critical support to ensure the smooth operation of our internal systems and devices.
Responsibilities:
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, email and slack.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Install and troubleshoot end user equipment, software, hardware, multimedia and telecommunications systems.
Ensure seamless operation of Windows and MacOS operating systems for employees.
Follow standard IT procedures, logging all IT interactions and administering IT software.
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Manage and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
Document and track issues and solutions to improve response times and efficiency.
(Optional/Preferred) Automate tasks and procedures to improve IT processes.

2 years of experience as a Help Desk / IT Support.
Experience with handling IT tasks on MacOS and Windows OS.
Well experienced in supporting end-user desktop applications such as internet browsers, printing, Antivirus etc.
Knowledge of networking components and infrastructure (Lan/Wan, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Advantages:
Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using Bash, Python, PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with managing network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
2 years of experience as a Help Desk / IT Support.
Experience with handling IT tasks on MacOS and Windows OS.
