QA Test Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for improving our testing processes and introducing innovative testing methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our SAAS applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in software quality.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Assess current testing practices and processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall quality of our software products.
* Develop and implement strategies to introduce new testing techniques, including automated testing, performance testing, security testing and more.
* Collaborate with development and product teams to understand software requirements, design, and architecture, and ensure test coverage aligns with these aspects.
* Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and security of SAAS applications. • Monitor and report on testing progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
* Lead root cause analysis and issue resolution efforts for defects identified during testing, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team, encouraging creativity and innovation to drive quality outcomes.

*Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in *Computer Science, Engineering, or related field* (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience *(3+ years) in software testing and quality assurance*, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Individuals with *excellent written and spoken English skills*, adapt with clear communication and documentation.
* In-depth knowledge of various testing techniques, including automated testing frameworks (Playwright), performance testing tools, and security testing methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex software defects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
* Experience working with *SAAS *applications and understanding of the challenges associated with *testing web-based software*.
* Familiarity with *agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices*.
