We are looking for a SW QA Engineer to join our Continuous Integration team
You will report to the Devices QA Manager, Broadband business unit
Location:
Hybrid role working at least 3 days a week from our offices at Caesarea.
What you will be doing:
In this role you will join our Continuous Integration Team, who provides us daily quality verdict for multiple Harmonic projects. As methods of work, the team is using only automatic tests, which are developed using two different frameworks and are running on permanent end-to-end setups. As a QA engineer you will be in contact with automation and device under test (DUT) development engineers.
As part of the role, you will be involved in the following areas:
Test end-to-end complex embedded system by analysis automation test results which are part of Continuous Integration (CI).
Maintain test suites (CI) by adding new tests developed by other teams, optimize suites structure to increase coverage.
Work in agile mode and cooperate with multiple scrum teams.

Requirements:
B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electricity Engineering or equivalent (Practical Engineering can also be considered).
Experience of 2 years in SW testing or customer support position.
Knowledge in layer 3 networking protocols.
Linux Knowledge.
Knowledge in DOCSIS - advantage.
Data traffic generators (Ixia, iPerf.) and analyzers (Wireshark, Averna) - advantage.
Script tools/languages (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) - advantage.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) - advantage.
High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups.
Fluent English (writing and speaking).
