We seek a highly skilled and motivated R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work on complex projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for new products and technologies.
Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes, conduct tests, and analyze data to validate design concepts and ensure product performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical designs into overall product architecture.
Research: Conduct research on new materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve product performance.
Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle.
Compliance: Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines.
The position is located in Yokneam.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in an R&D environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and FEA tools.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse technical backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of thermal and fluid dynamics.
Familiarity with automotive standards and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge in Opto-mechanical design.
