We're seeking an exceptional Frontend Team Lead to drive the development of cutting-edge AI-powered user interfaces.
You'll play a crucial role in bringing Apollo's advanced capabilities to life through intuitive and responsive web applications.
*What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of frontend engineers in delivering high-quality, user-centric products and features
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams to align frontend development with overall project goals
- Translate customer needs and product requirements into technical specifications for the frontend team
- Develop and implement frontend engineering strategies, including resource allocation and project timelines
- Champion best practices and cutting-edge frontend technologies, keeping the team at the forefront of industry advancements
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure timely delivery of robust and scalable frontend solutions
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills
- Recruit top frontend talent and facilitate their smooth onboarding
- Implement and refine Agile development methodologies within the frontend team

Requirements:
- Strong background in frontend engineering, with expertise in modern web technologies
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a focus on React.js and related technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor frontend development teams
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS
- Strong knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and version control systems
- Experience in developing responsive and accessible web applications
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their practical application in frontend development
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work effectively in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive attitude
- Experience with remote work and collaborating with global teams
- Proven ability to balance technical leadership with people management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
