Frontend Tech Lead (React) | Enterprise Web Applications | North Israel

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Tech Lead to join a strategic long-term project developing large-scale enterprise web applications for one of Israel's leading high-tech organizations.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, offering the opportunity to design modern frontend architectures while leading the implementation of complex, mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
Lead the frontend technical direction and architecture.
Design and develop scalable, enterprise-grade React applications.
Define technical solutions and architectural guidelines.
Write architecture and design documentation.
Collaborate closely with software architects, backend developers, UX designers, and product teams.
Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
Drive code quality, performance optimization, maintainability, and scalability.
Remain actively involved in hands-on development.

Requirements
7+ years of Frontend development experience.
Proven experience as a Frontend Tech Lead or technical leader.
Strong expertise in React.
Excellent knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Extensive experience building large-scale web applications.
Deep understanding of Frontend architecture, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
Experience defining technical solutions and writing architecture/design documentation.
Hands-on experience with system design and architecture modeling tools such as Draw.io, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
Strong experience with state management solutions and component-based architectures.
Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, browser performance optimization, and modern frontend development practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on software development.
