Frontend Team Leader

As the Frontend Team Leader, you will lead a talented team of developers, providing technical direction and leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers high-quality, optimized, and accessible frontend solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Strategy:
• Define and implement technical strategies for frontend development, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentorship & Team Development:
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
• Project Oversight:
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to define requirements and deliver user-centric features on time.
• Code Quality & Reviews:
• Ensure a high standard of code through regular reviews, enforcing best practices and maintaining code consistency.
• Innovative Problem-Solving:
• Tackle technical challenges, providing efficient solutions to complex problems in both frontend architecture and user interface development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.
• Continuous Learning:
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in frontend technologies and encourage the team to adopt new tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in React and Node.js development.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Expertise in performance optimization, accessibility, and web standards.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services is required.
• Leadership Skills:
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Mastery in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Experience with server-side technologies, particularly Node.js, and an understanding of full-stack development.
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git), build tools (Webpack, Babel), and CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in mobile app development.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (Next.js) and static site generation.
• Knowledge of cloud services beyond GCP, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience scaling teams and handling complex project architectures.
